Safe Baby Handling Tips

While Jonathan and I are super excited to be having a baby there are certainly moments of fear, doubt and panic. I got to thinking today about my last babysitting experience. The event wasn't anything special but the time frame seriously shook me up. I was 22 at the time and I'm currently 33. That's right . . . I haven't been alone with small child in over a decade!!!!!!! Ahhhhh! People keep telling us that because we are older we will make better parents. Gosh, I hope that's true . . .

So, I wanted to share this little pamphlet I found online. I figure if Jonathan and I memorize these diagrams then we should be OK.

Ha ha ha. We all need as much humor as possible with small children.

Shoot! I kinda like the "don't" portion. What if I use the playpen, but turn it upside down?? And, what if I use the drawer, but put a night light inside??? Hmmmmm LOL LOL

OH!! I just got an email Udder Covers; I'm not sure if you plan to breast feed, but if you do.... Go to uddercovers.com then pick a cover - there are 6 of them, one is out of stock and the rest are backordered until July. BUT if you type "mother" as a discount code they are FREE (for mother's day, so I don't know how long the code will last)! You'll only pay $9.95 s/h. AND you can use the code as much as you like, just open a new browser window and order another one :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Hilarious! Although I wish we had this list when we raised you. We could have skipped some of the "don'ts."
