This year for Halloween I made us Angry Bird costumes (colored felt and 2 t-shirts). I wore my costume to work for our Halloween party and won $30 for Most Original Costume -- just beating out Jesus and the 7 Dwarves.
We had a great time this year. Some friends came to visit and take their kids around our neighborhood. Our neighborhood is really popular with trick-or-treaters though and we ran out of candy by 8pm. Ooops! We had a huge bowl full and I thought we had plenty. Jonathan kept telling me we needed more so I even bought an extra bag of candy that morning. Oh well, next year I'll be prepared!!
The day after Halloween I was talking to a coworker and discovered why our neighborhood is so popular. Apparently, some of the houses pass out beers to the the parents . . .
